Beautiful People

Day 32 of 366 Day Project

“Magic is everywhere, explore & be amazed everyday!”

“Yoga is the perfect opportunity to be curious about who you are”, Jason Crandell

Woo hoo, so today was day ‘one’ of my 3rd 28-Day Yoga Challenge at Zenko Yoga. So you might be thinking, why do it again…three times…really?  Each time I embark on the Challenge, I do so for completely different reasons and this time is no different.  Lately, I’ve noticed and acknowledged that I have been making excuses and avoiding going to yoga, primarily due to a temporary health issue. So I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for me to work on ‘Letting Go’ of those thoughts that no longer serve me and keep me from showing up on my mat…and work towards bringing more ‘acceptance’ into my life. I know first hand the physical and mental benefits of a regular yoga practice so I say, “bring on this challenge and I’m so grateful to be sharing it with such a supportive group of beautiful people”.

So today’s photo are the beautiful people who attended the introduction session tonight where we shared what we wanted to get out of the Challenge and our reasons for doing it. We also wrote our journal entries of what goals we wanted to have achieved by the 29th of February, a very powerful tool. I am so grateful to everyone who attended, for openly sharing and supporting each other…I went home feeling the love, so thank you.

I look forward to sharing this challenge with each and every one of you.  Namaste

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~ Marianne Williamson
