“Koala”

Day 57 of 366 Day Project

“Magic is everywhere, explore & be amazed everyday!”

How bizarre is this little stuffed Koala? I walk past this little guy everyday.  He’s tied to a palm tree in the front yard of property down the road from where I live. He always grabs my eye as I continue to wonder why? Is he there for a meaningful purpose or just to be a little weird and wacky to get passerby’s attention? We’ll he gets mine every day!

Koala has been perched in the palm tree for well over a year now and surprisingly has handled the weather well…so I thought why not include him in my 366 day project. One day I’ll pluck up the courage and ask the owners when I see them why? Until then I’ll have to continue to be amazed and curious. See if you can spot him when you are next in the area…he resides on Point Cartwright Drive.

Did you know Koalas aren’t bears as many people are led to believe? They aren’t even related to bears. The koala is related to the kangaroo and the wombat and is a marsupial mammal.
