Day 22 of 366 Day Project

“Magic is everywhere, explore & be amazed everyday!”

I can’t believe how more of ‘life’s magic’ I’ve noticed since doing this project. I’m finding that I’m constantly being inquisitive, looking at my surroundings differently, more intent and always being mindful that there is wonder and excitement everywhere if I stop long enough to observe.

Today walking on the beach I came across a beautiful soul ‘Zaneta’ who was getting her yogo on whilst on holidays visiting her family. A practising yogie myself I plucked up the courage to ask if she’d like to feature in my photo a day project…yeah happy dance was on when she said yes.   I learnt that she is also pole dancer at Beyond Gravity Pole Fitness.  Now that’s an amazing workout in itself.

You might also be curious about what the round object is in the photo…exactly what I was wondering too. It’s a Prana or Yoga Wheel and apparently they’re a fun and creative way to expand the flexibility in your spine, shoulders, chest and more. These crafted wheels have the ability to assist in increasing the flow of the Prana. Prana is often referred to as the “life force” or “life energy”; also the term refers collectively to all cosmic energy, permeating the Universe on all levels.

Love yourself, love your day, love your life!

In yoga classes I attend, the instructors always reminds us to take a moment to feel appreciation for something or someone in our lives and also to be thankful for our ability to do yoga. I love that.

Yoga helps us learn to be grateful for the present moment. It allows us to find peace with the entire spectrum of experiences including sadness and joy. The darker moments in our lives are lessons that enable us to grow. I am grateful that I have made Yoga a part of my life, lots of gratitude to Lauren Vercoe and the amazing team of instructors at Zenko Yoga.

“Your life is a sacred journey. It is about change, growth, discovery, movement, transformation, continuously expanding your vision of what is possible, stretching your soul, learning to see clearly and deeply, listening to your intuition, taking courageous challenges at every step along the way. You are on the path… exactly where you are meant to be right now… And from here, you can only go forward, shaping your life story into a magnificent tale of triumph, of healing, of courage, of beauty, of wisdom, of power, of dignity, and of love.” ~ by Caroline Adams
